Journey to Vision: learning not to be powerless over anything
Part Three
The scripture verse above is Isaiah 65:12b; NIV. Following in verses 13 & 14 it says, “My servants will eat, my servants will drink, my servants will rejoice, My servants will sing out of the joy of their hearts. But you will go hungry; but you will go thirsty; but you will be put to shame. But you will cry out from anguish of heart and wail in brokenness of spirit.” [out of order, but complete]
Many Christians don’t have the goodness God talks about in the scripture verses above, because they do not listen to God and do what God tells them to do. I understand that no one is perfect, and we all miss it from time to time, but there are those who do not listen and obey at all. They are the ones who are hungry, thirsty and put to shame.
Many Christians forget God and try to make things happen for their own glory, in their own strength and build their own destinies. The week of July 15th, 2024 I suggest reading the Daily Walk in Tomorrow, found at threecrossescanada.com. Many of these Christians who ignore God, who are trying to do something in the flesh, are like fish out of water. Something happens in their life and God gets the blame. “Where are you God? How could you let this happen? Don’t you see me down here?” These cries of desperation and sorrow are the harvest of the seeds you sown.
I often say, “WE CAN KNOW NOTHING BUT VICTORY.” Know…you have to know something. If you know it in your heart, God will see it, and give you the desires of your heart. If it is in your heart – it doesn’t matter your intellect, your wealth or abilities – you live and speak from your heart. If it is in your heart it will manifest. Whether that thing in your heart is good or evil. What is in there will come out. “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23; NIV)
In Part Two, we talked about Haggai and the season we are in today, June 24th to September 24, 2024. We are in a season of preparedness. Listen carefully: DURING THIS SEASON, YOU ARE BUILDING YOUR ARK AND FILLING IT WITH FOOD. ““You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.” Noah did everything just as God commanded him.”” (Genesis 6:21, 22; NIV) Noah heard and obeyed, and his family was saved, along with all the living creatures God had sent.
We are talking about our Journey to Vision, and it all starts with listening and obeying. Not only are prophets and teachers talking about preparedness, not only the financial sector, not only the homesteaders, gardeners and preppers, but the mainstream media and social media influencers. Most of them, I refuse to listen too, because they are fear based, not faith based. Many are preparing for the “zombie” apocalypse, or the “7-years” of tribulation, and I am not going to be here for that. If you want to hang out on Earth for those seven years, you can, but I am going to Heaven to celebrate the Wedding Feast.
Your vision lives in tomorrow. You have to get into your tomorrow where God is, and stand beside Him, and look back at your today. If you do that, you will see which way to go even though you have never been that way before. Without vision, you cannot see what to do. Without vision, you will not have hope. Without hope there is no faith. You cannot please God without faith.
This season is being written clearly by the prophets. 2 Chronicles 20:20 says, “Have faith in the LORD your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.” (NIV) What are the Prophets saying in this hour? Now remember, Prophets all have callings to teach and prophesy different things and about different places. No prophet sees the whole picture, they see in part and speak in part. When you listen to a handful of different kinds of prophets, you get to see a larger picture.
Prophets will always speak what God says, and if it doesn’t line up with the Word, toss it out. Therefore, you need to know what the Word says, so read your bible and study it. Prophets also, like us, are open to interpretation, they have a filter of experiences they run the Word of God through, yet you will know a true prophet by his history. Remember also, some prophecy is given to pray it away. Some prophecy is given for us to build prayer around so it doesn’t affect us, and some prophecy, such as the birth of Christ or the tribulation cannot be prayed away, its coming no matter what we do.
God lives inside of you, and the expression of Him will come out of you so others can see Him, if you allow Him too. God will tell you which way to go, if you allow Him too. I want you to get this: YOU DO NOT HAVE FOOD, CLOTHING, SUPPLIES, ECT., NOT because God will not supply – BUT because He does. God sends supplies when you need them, when it is the season too. God supplies us the seed, and if we plant that seed, we will reap the harvest God wants us to have.
God gave us His Word. Do you pick up the bible and read it daily? That is seed and will produce a harvest of righteousness because the Word is getting into your heart. The Word is a road map. The Word is our truth to stand on. It is our sword. Without the Word we have nothing planted, and the only harvest we will receive is unrighteousness. How can you be holy, if you don’t know what holy looks like?
Proverbs 28:19 says, “Work hard and you’ll have all you desire, but chase a fantasy and you could end up with nothing.” (TPT) We are in a season of preparedness. Do we know with absolute certainty what is going to happen in the next season, September 25th, to December 25th? No. There is an election in November, in the United States, so sow your seed of righteousness and vote so you have a harvest. Will we be in the mist of World War Three? Will we be running the same course as 2020 as far as a ‘sickness’ and all the lies that went with it? Will we still be running after those alphabet letters trying to please a few percent of the population? Will we suffer more at the hand of man-made weather? Will we be suffering with EMP attacks and see more cell groups waking up?
Over the course of the year, I warned you about buying meat before the bird flu broke out. I warned you about buying garden seeds this year for next year before the droughts and wild weather. I told you to buy extra medications, emergency supplies and food. Now recently even Dr. Phil is telling you to prepare. “Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty.” (Proverbs 28:19; NIV)
God sends what you need in that season to prepare for the next season. Be in Season, out of SEASON. Seeds take time to germinate, grow and produce a harvest at maturity. ALL THINGS COME FROM GOD. One way God provides for His servants, is to tell them what is coming. In Amos, God says, He always tells us what is coming. Always.
What is our aim? To seek first the Kingdom and His righteousness. His way of doing things.
What is the condition of your flock? Get out your notebook and write.
Your flock is your family, your house, your supplies, your money, your bills.
After you do that, ask God what you are supposed to do to correct the situation if something is not according to God.
This is an example: Food in your pantry.
Go through your supplies and write everything down you have. Most governments tell you to have at least a three-day supply, seven is better. REMEMBER WE PREPARE IN FAITH, NOT FEAR. This is standard, it has always been this way, but few have taken heed in the decades it has been asked of you.
NATO is telling the west to step up its preparations for war. Sweden and France are telling its people to prepare for war. Canada, Russia, Uk, France, India and Australia are warning their citizens not to travel to Israel. Now remember, war might not be all tanks and fighter jets, we have cell groups everywhere. There are hackers, (remember the ship that ran into a bridge), bombs for EMP attacks, and we have created a disaster with debt in our countries, and not kept in step with other military countries.
Why is three to seven days not enough? If war breaks out, supplies will cease from other countries, and as in World War Two, the mass of supplies will go to the armies. If a disaster happens, such as an attack on the power plants, an EMP attack or bombs from submarines and aircrafts, people are going to panic and run to the shops and loot, or just buy anything they can get their hands on. Do you want to be out there in that? Will your children have food? Will your baby have diapers?
The government won’t have money to give you, it will all be going to the war effort. Are you going to throw your hands in the air, and say God will provide? I am not telling you this to cause panic and fear, but to motivate you to start to prepare. I pray war doesn’t break out, and we all live in peace, and that storms and flooding, and tornados stop. I pray that sickness doesn’t prevent anyone from not going to work, and that power plants don’t go down, and that we have a supply of food and water to help us get by.
