We can repent and praise our way out of a bad harvest – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 1ST, 2024 (5784)
“For they have not listened to my words,” declares the LORD, “words that I sent to them again and again by my servants the prophets. And you exiles have not listened either, declares the LORD.” (Jeremiah 29:19; NIV) “As for the king still sitting on David’s throne and all the people left in Jerusalem who didn’t go into exile with you, they’re facing bad times. GOD-of-the-Agel-Armies says, ‘Watch this! Catastrophe is on the way: war, hunger, disease! They’re a barrel of rotten apples. I’ll rid the country of them through war and hunger and disease. The whole world is going to hold its nose at the smell, shut its eyes at the horrible sight. They’ll end up in slum ghettos because they wouldn’t listen to a thing I said when I sent my servant prophets preaching tirelessly and urgently. No, they wouldn’t listen to a word I said.’” GOD’S Decree. (Jeremiah 29: 16 – 19: MSG)
The LORD is the government part of the Kingdom, the part that declares the harvest, whether a good harvest or a bad harvest. The LORD will not give a bad harvest if you sowed for a good harvest, and neither will He give a good harvest for a bad harvest. It might seem that way sometimes, but remember, God is after souls, and He is a God of grace. Praise God for this, because we can repent and praise our way out of a bad harvest.

This year our theme is, “Prepare the Way, Prepare the Way of the LORD God.” God told us in Proverbs 24:27 to have our outdoor work and fields ready before building our house. Being prepared removes much of the fear that can come when a natural disaster comes upon you, or unemployment or even a temporary illness. If you have your garden planted, the pantry full, candles and flashlights, your tools and water supply, you can then focus on other things as your fear will not be driving you to go out in a panic and get these things that others are scrambling to get.
Last year we focused on Be in Season, out of SEASON. We prepared our emergency supplies and pantries, in preparation of the coming years. No one is ever fully prepared, for every situation, but if you are constantly rotating your pantry, water, and fuel supplies, and paying attention to the righteous news, you are many steps ahead of those who ignore the warnings.
Use NEW YORK as an example. If you are living in New York city, are you one who is rushing out buying supplies because of the truckers? It will spread across our countries. Yes, we feel it too in Canada. Prepare not in fear. “A prudent person with insight foresees danger coming and prepares himself for it. But the senseless rush blindly forward and suffer the consequences.” (Proverbs 22:3; TPT)

Because we get new people reading the ‘Daily Walk in Tomorrow,’ I want to revisit why we are placing such an importance on prepare for the worst – trust GOD to bring victory.
The year 2024 or 5784 is the year of the open door. Prophets have been telling the people to gather supplies together before 2020. We have been invaded in Canada and the United States with military aged men from China and Afghanistan. China has purchased land in both countries, beside military sights. China has been threatening to invade Taiwan. In November, there is an election in the United States. In both countries the court judges are ruling against the law, allowing criminals to be released and keeping the righteous locked up in prison. There are wars and rumours of wars. Prophets have been warning about a great depression coming in 2025; pray against it, but at the same time, take God’s warning seriously, “prepare for the worst.”
Beware also of the threats against our water supply, the amount of chemicals used on our food crops and the hormones given to the livestock. There has been attacks against our power plants, coal, and fuel sights, as well as destruction of railway lines. The earth is rebelling against all the evil, with storms of all kinds, lack of moisture and flooding. The governments are continuing the use of chemtrails, which is supposed to block the sunlight and cool the earth down. The earth at one time was much warmer than it is today, and what happens to the plants that need the sunlight they are blocking?
The prophets have been telling us to prepare for a famine, to prepare for and watch for earthquakes, natural disasters of biblical proportions, the alien narrative, cyber warfare, and pray against wars. You need to start listening and watching and becoming aware of what is happening around you so you can protect your family and pray against the evil that is trying to come into your home.
The Word says, idleness brings poverty.

Prepare for the worst – trust GOD to bring victory – Part 3 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 4TH, 2024 (5784)
Over the last few days, we have been talking about preparedness. If you are not preparing for something, that probably means you are either totally out to lunch and do not have a clue what is happening around you, or you are ignoring the signs that God is placing around your camp.
God has been sending signs throughout 2023 and now into 2024. The forest fires, the huge snow falls, the earthquakes, the volcano eruptions, and flooding. These areas are foretelling the call to be prepared. There has been talk, and we pray against wars and rumours of wars, EMP attacks, natural disasters of biblical proportions, sleeping terrorist cells in Canada and the United States. We have heard and seen rising interest rates, recessions, depressions, rationing, supply storages, and increased pressure to give up our guns. Shootings in churches, schools, and on the street. The growing pressure to be anything even remotely close to who God created you to be.
The growing of the pressure in these last days, should open your eyes to prepare not only in the natural sense, but also in the spirit.
Prepare for the worst – trust GOD to bring victory – Part 4 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 5TH, 2024 (5784)
On Sunday, March 3rd, the Joy of Home, lessons 15, 16 and 17 were published on Victory Over Living with Alcoholic and Victory Campaign 2024 on Facebook. PDFs are under the file tab. Wake up and pay attention. Pray against depression, job loss, vandalism, theft, and poverty coming near your tent. Tent simply means your dwelling place.
If you are one of those people who pray and expect God to do all the work, you are not biblical. God says faith without action is dead. If you are believing for a new job, you have to fill out job applications. If you are praying that God gives you a baby, you either have to have sex with your spouse or applying for adoption. If you are believing to be healed, and you are eating donuts, smoking, and inviting your disease to continue to hang out with you, you need to refocus and relearn how God heals.
If you are telling yourself you can’t build up your pantry because you don’t make enough money or food prices are too high, you won’t be able too. If you speak out loud, that God is your source and supply, and that you are blessed and highly favoured, and that sales hunt you down, you will build that pantry. If you watch your spending, watch for sales, ask Holy Spirit where to shop, you will build up your pantry. If you are lazy, and are reckless with your money, you will be in lack, and be unprepared if an emergency comes knocking on your door.
I see this all the time at work, online and in chats, I don’t have because food costs so much. I have to go to a food bank. I see two kinds of people: the takers and complainers and those who are thankful and do something with what they have. Lazy people have little, they are often the ones who complain, who take and not give. I know people who live on disability, yet they do what they can. They garden and preserve food, they go weekly to the food bank, shop the sales, and are grateful for everything they have. They share with others. (YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.)
Prepare for the worst – trust GOD to bring victory – Part 5 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 6TH, 2024 (5784)
What will it take before you start to prepare? If you only put up a few items every week, that is better than nothing. Pancake mix made with water and maple syrup might not be the best meal you could ever make, but it will fill hungry tummies. The following week, you might buy Kraft dinner, a can of peaches and a can of chicken. The next week, you might buy a can of stew, a box of bisquick and a package of pudding. And again, you go out and buy a jar of peanut butter, crackers, and soup. If you know how to bake bread, or tea biscuits you can have peanut butter toast. Maybe you have a pie filling in the cupboard and you can bake a pie.
Also buy a few things that can be eaten without heating them in case the power goes out for the day. It is a good idea to have something like Gatorade powder or bottles in the pantry. If you have powdered milk or canned milk you can serve cereal to those with less refined taste buds. Canned potatoes, canned carrots, and a can of meat, mixed together in a pot and you can make a stew.
Remember your pets as well. Always have at least one bag of food in the pantry. When you open the new bag, go buy another one for the pantry. Don’t overstock on pet food, as it only has about a 6-month shelf life.
Dried foods are wonderful to have in the pantry, but remember you need water to hydrate them.
Always keep extra toilet paper, paper towels and baby wipes in the pantry as well. In case you lose water, you can use baby wipes to wash your hands and body. It is a good idea to have some paper plates and plastic forks, knives, and spoons handy as well.
Prepare for the worst – trust GOD to bring victory – Part 6 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 7TH, 2024 (5784)
If you do something every week to prepare, the task will not seem as daunting. Spending an extra five or ten dollars a week, to fill your pantry, might not seem like much, but after six months, that will be a good amount of food in the pantry. Here comes the hard part for a lot of newbies, you must use your pantry prep items. Food is meant to be used, if not it will be a waste of money. If you use something, replace it.
Remember to start storing water as well. Whether you buy a flat of water bottles, or a larger bottle, start putting up some in the pantry. Have at least 2 litres (8 cups) per person, per day, for a minimum of three days, seven days is better. Remember your pets, and to have some set aside for cooking and washing.
Make sure you have candles, matches, a first aide kit and warm blankets. A way to charge your cell phone, a way to heat food and if possible, a heater of some kind that doesn’t need electricity. Read the Joy of Home for more information.
You are not powerless over alcohol – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 8TH, 2024 (5784)
Recently I wrote about why I despise the 12-step program. I received comments that I was teaching things that I didn’t understand about the program and that only God had power and we don’t.
I understand exactly what she was saying, as I do know about Al-anon and the 12-step program. First understand, that the 12-step program is not a Christian nor is it a secular program, it is a one size fits all program. Kind of like what the WEF or WHO is talking about, a one world religion. We know for a fact that the bible is being rewritten to focus on just that, a one world view.
Al-anon says, a higher power, whether that is a tree, a god, or something you made up. They don’t say, the “I AM” God, they don’t say Jesus, they say, higher power. So, you could be sitting around a table with a witch who believes Satan is her higher power, a person who doesn’t believe in anything accept that they are of themselves a god, and someone who believes that seeking out mediums will tell them what to do and how to do it. Now I have attended Al-anon in three different provinces, in many different meetings and not once were we allowed to use the name Jesus or talk about Christianity. We could say God, but not use the bible as a reference, as Al-anon is an everything goes program.
If you attend a meeting, you are going to hear people rehashing war stories. You are going to hear people talk about defeat, you will hear them weep, you will hear about how they are coping in a marriage and trying not to enable their spouse. You will hear things like we are powerless over alcohol and our lives are unmanageable. Keep reworking the steps. Buy our books. Study our books. Read the devotional daily. Your higher power, will help you, continue to pray.

You are not powerless over alcohol Part 2- DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 9TH, 2024 (5784)
Yesterday we started to talk about Al-anon and the 12-step program. We talked about that you are encouraged to pray to your god, that can be a tree, a demonic entity, Buddha, or “I AM”.
9-11 All those who make no-god idols don’t amount to a thing, and what they work so hard at making is nothing. Their little puppet-gods see nothing and know nothing—they’re total embarrassments! Who would bother making gods that can’t do anything, that can’t “god”? Watch all the no-god worshipers hide their faces in shame. Watch the no-god makers slink off humiliated when their idols fail them. Get them out here in the open. Make them face God-reality.
12 The blacksmith makes his no-god, works it over in his forge, hammering it on his anvil—such hard work! He works away, fatigued with hunger and thirst.
13-17 The woodworker draws up plans for his no-god, traces it on a block of wood. He shapes it with chisels and planes into human shape—a beautiful woman, a handsome man, ready to be placed in a chapel. He first cuts down a cedar, or maybe picks out a pine or oak, and lets it grow strong in the forest, nourished by the rain. Then it can serve a double purpose: Part he uses as firewood for keeping warm and baking bread; from the other part he makes a god that he worships—carves it into a god shape and prays before it. With half he makes a fire to warm himself and barbecue his supper. He eats his fill and sits back satisfied with his stomach full and his feet warmed by the fire: “Ah, this is the life.” And he still has half left for a god, made to his personal design—a handy, convenient no-god to worship whenever so inclined. Whenever the need strikes him he prays to it, “Save me. You’re my god.”
18-19 Pretty stupid, wouldn’t you say? Don’t they have eyes in their heads? Are their brains working at all? Doesn’t it occur to them to say, “Half of this tree I used for firewood: I baked bread, roasted meat, and enjoyed a good meal. And now I’ve used the rest to make a repulsive no-god. Here I am praying to a stick of wood!”
20 This lover of emptiness, of nothing, is so out of touch with reality, so far gone, that he can’t even look at what he’s doing, can’t even look at the no-god stick of wood in his hand and say, “This is crazy.” Isaiah 44 The Message Translation
You are not powerless over alcohol Part 3- DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 10TH, 2024 (5784)
Yesterday we quoted Isaiah 44:9-20 from the Message Translation, about how God sees people who create their own gods. People of all faiths attend Al-anon such as atheists, satanists, Christians, Buddhist, Hinduists, and so on. The only one that is not based on works is Christianity. The only one that says, do not create an image of God to worship is Christianity.
If you have never gone to an Al-anon meeting or other 12-step program, they start with reading the 12-steps, which say, we admit we are powerless over alcohol (or drugs, or gambling, or pornography, or food, or over whatever is the focus of the group) and our lives are unmanageable. People get so mad at me when I say we are NOT powerless over anything, and our lives are NOT unmanageable. When you say you are powerless you are admitting defeat.
Merriam-Webster Dictionary says Powerless is: 1. Lacking power, force, or energy 2. Lacking authority to act. The Collins Dictionary says: Someone who is powerless is unable to control or influence events.
Most people throw at me, “we are powerless, but God has power.” Yes, God has power, and that power does flow through us enabling us to achieve what we are warring against. However, God doesn’t move without us. You can pray until the cows come home, the fat lady sings, the cow jumps over the moon, and yet your prayers are not answered. Why? “God, I am powerless over alcohol and my life is unmanageable. Do something.” What do you want God to do? He has done everything already. Those lashes He took for you, the nailing and hanging on the cross has already been done for you. He took your sin and left it in Hell for you. You choose whether you pick it all back up or not.
When Jesus took every single lash for you, had His flesh ripped out of His body for you, did He think for a moment, “I am doing all this, so my family can be powerless and have unmanageable lives?” What is Jesus powerless over? Your free will. He will never violate your free will. You are free to reject Him, go to Hell if you want to, do evil, lie, cheat, steal, and live your life in chaos.
You are not powerless over alcohol Part 4- DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 11TH, 2024 (5784)
Yesterday I quoted, “A warrior filled with wisdom ascends into the high place and releases breakthrough, bringing down the strongholds of the mighty. Watch your words and be careful what you say, and you’ll be surprised by how few troubles you’ll have.” (Proverbs 21:22, 23; TPT) The NIV says, “A wise man attacks the city of the mighty and pulls down the stronghold in which they trust.” The Authorized King James Version says, “A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty.”
Who attacks, ascends, and scales the city of the mighty? “Oh God, I am so powerless I can’t do it. I can’t see a way to breakthrough. I can’t do it; I have troubles and lack resources. How can I ascend into the high places and release breakthrough? You have to fight for me, just as your word says. I prayed for help, where are you?”
If you are a born-again Christian, Jesus lives inside of you. If you have invited Holy Spirit to dwell inside of you, He is in there as well. So that answers the question where are you? Yes, the Word says, I will fight for you, but…but you have to do your part. What did Proverbs 21:23 say? “He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity.” (NIV) Then we jump a verse and go to 25 and 26, reading from the Amplified, “The desire of the lazy kills him, For his hands refuse to labor; He craves all the day long [and does no work], But the righteous [willingly] gives and does not withhold [what he has].”
What do you see in those verses? “Jesus doing all the work?” No, He has done His part already. It is finished. You hold your tongue and guard what you say, and you are not lazy but willing to pick up your sword and go into battle, not withholding, but righteously giving.
But of power, and a sound mind – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 12TH, 2024 (5784)
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7; KJV) Over the last few days we have been talking about comments I have received about my articles and writings about why I despise the 12-step programs. I often hear people tell me that I don’t know what I am talking about, that I don’t know about the 12-steps and that we are powerless, but God is not. I have shown you many places in the bible where God tells us that we are not powerless. When I ask these people to give me a scripture verse, just one that tells me other wise, I never hear back from them, or they continue to bash me with nonsense.
We have talked about the fact that you have a part to play in taking the altars of powerlessness in your own life down, which means, you have to stand with God, in Jesus’s authority, and rip them down. God gave you a voice of authority, and He has given you faith, and He has told us we must use them. Jesus paid the price so we can operate in them. Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 1:12, reading from the Amplified, “for I know Him [and I am personally acquainted with Him] whom I have believed [with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in the truth of His deity], and I am persuaded [beyond any doubt] that He is able to guard that which I have entrusted to Him until that day [when I stand before him].” Paul tells us in Romans 5:21, “being fully persuaded that God had the power to do what he had promised”, is why Abraham was credited with righteousness. In 26 in is written, “he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God.” (NIV)
You don’t trust someone absolutely unless you know them. Unless you have a relationship with them. When I first met the man I married, I felt butterflies, and thought, this must be him. I shut my mind and heart off to God and ran after this man as if he were my ‘new’ god. I trusted him before I knew him. I ‘loved’ him but was really operating in lust. I paid a heavy price when my harvest was rendered. I was a pitiful creature of Christ. Pathetic really. I abandoned my post and ran after Satan, like I was a servant of the world. “No Soldier in active service gets entangled in the [ordinary business] affairs of civilian life; [he avoids them] so that he may please the one who enlisted him to serve.” (2 Timothy 2:4; AMP) Praise God for His grace and mercy, and that I was able to repent, and get back into my position of a soldier. Our earthy soldiers have ranks, and with discipline, study, courage and years, soldiers can increase in rank. The higher your rank, the more authority you have, and you have more soldiers that are under you.
But of power, and a sound mind Part 2 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 13TH, 2024 (5784)
Yesterday we left off talking about soldiers and rank. Soldiers do what they are told to do. On the battlefield, they don’t see the placement of the enemy, they only see what is in front of them. They don’t know about the other companies positions, the air force that is preparing for take off to support them, nor do they know the intel that the General knows. “The hard-working farmer [who labors to produce crops] ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops. Think over the things I am saying [grasp their application], for the Lord will grant you insight and understanding in everything.” (2 Timothy 2:6,7; AMP).
God is not going to tell you everything, just as a General is not going to tell grunts (foot soldiers) everything. “It is the Lord who directs your life, for each step you take is ordained by God to bring you closer to your destiny. So much of your life, then remains a mystery!” (Proverbs 20:24; TPT) If God handed you the entire play book of your life, where is the faith in that, and the enemy would know everything. Our part is to depend on God in faith, that He knows what He is doing, and that He is doing the best for us. When I deviated from His plan, it put me in a position to reap a bad harvest, and I lost all the opportunities that God had planned for me to fulfill. The things I was supposed to do He had to find someone else to do. The man I was supposed to marry, the fun activities, the faith filled life I was supposed to have lived, is gone. God restores the lost things, makes good from the bad, but I chose to leave God, God never left me. The longer you stay away from God, the more you will loose. The longer you stay away from your play book, the less you will accomplish on earth.
People also get mad at me when I tell them the Word says flee evil. Don’t live with it, don’t breathe it, and don’t handle it. They get upset when I talk about enabling. You don’t have to be living with someone FOR THEM to be saved. My first husband died a couple weeks after he tried strangling me. I had him arrested. He did rededicate his life to Christ between his arrest and death. I had nothing to do with him being saved. One day, I will look at him face to face again, and be glad.
You have to do whatever God is telling you to do. He has already made a way for you to succeed, you just have to take a step of faith and believe that He will not lie to you. It will be hard, but it is harder to stay where you are, then to believe God. Be like Abraham and be fully persuaded that God has the power to do what He says. That means you need to spend time with Him and be obedient. God is absolutely good.

“…thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Behold (listen very carefully), I am sending the sword, famine, and virulent disease (pestilence) on them, and I will make them like rotten figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten.” (Jeremiah 29:17; AMP)
Around February 27th, I posted a video from Last Days, a prophetic intercessor, who talked about seeing a group of people planning evil with the use of AI. They were developing another way to kill people in masses, just like the other one in 2020. This time they were using medications normally given to people who are overweight.
The Daily Walk in Tomorrow over the last two years has talked a lot about Revelations 6:1-9. That a rider on a white horse, carrying a poison dart and corona would come riding “out as a conqueror bent on conquest.”
“…because they have not listened to and honored My words,’ says the LORD, ‘which I sent to them again and again by My servants the prophets. Moreover, you [exiles] did not listen [either],’ says the LORD.” (Jeremiah 29:19; AMP) We, God’s children, are not listening. The false prophet is gaining followers. If you don’t know who that is, you might not be following the prophets, listening to Christian news programs, or been following this devotional. God’s prophets have revealed him years and years ago. Still God’s people are hearing who he is and do nothing about it. God’s people have been told for years now to prepare and have done nothing. If that is you, and I must admit, me too who has not fully followed the instructions of the Lord, repent, and get into the Word, pray, and seek the Kingdom so all these things can be added unto you.
But of power, and a sound mind Part 4 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 15TH, 2024 (5784)
“This is the Message from GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies, Israel’s God, to all the exiles I’ve taken from Jerusalem to Babylon: Build houses and make yourselves at home. Put in gardens and eat what grows in that country. Marry and have children. Encourage your children to marry and have children so that you’ll thrive in that country and not waste away. Make yourselves at home there and work for the country’s welfare. Pray for Babylon’s well-being. If things go well for Babylon, things will go well for you.
“Yes. Believe it or not, this is the Message from GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies. Israel’s God: “Don’t let all those so-called preachers and know-it-alls who are all over the place there take you in with their lies. Don’t pay any attention to the fantasies they keep coming up with to please you. They’re a bunch of liars preaching lies – and claiming I sent them! I never sent them believe me.” GOD’S Decree!” (Jeremiah 29:4-9; MSG)
If you cannot find it in the bible where it says do this, don’t do it. There are ‘denominations’ who say homosexuality is okay. There are people who claim abortion is okay. There are singers who are ‘witches’ on stage, performing satanic rituals and parents are letting their children go to these concerts and listen to their music. You have doctors who are pushing pills and ‘scientist’ who have created ‘non-foods’ and a public that claims they are foods.
The Word says we are not of this world but live in this world. We are here to build homes, grow gardens, have children, and worship God. We are to pray for our families, our neighbourhoods, our cities, and country. Listen to this: God wrote this, not me.
Goats, sheep, lost salvation? – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 16TH, 2024 (5784)
“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers no male prostitutes not homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; NIV)
God wants everyone saved and come to the FULL knowledge of who he is. The moment you receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour is the moment you become born again. You have become a Christian. The scripture verse is talking to Christians; you must move from the open door, step in, and seize the kingdom, or as Jesus put it, seek first the kingdom and all these things will be added to you. Inherit means according to Merriam-Webster dictionary: to take or hold a possession or rights by inheritance.
Are you taking and holding, or standing and waiting? Are you living a righteous life or living in both worlds? At the moment of the rapture, some Christians will go to Heaven, (the sheep) and some Christians will stay behind (the goats). Some will be virgins with full oil lamps, and some will be virgins without oil in their lamps and will miss the rapture because they were playing around in the world.
Are you playing with the world’s fire or Holy Spirit’s fire? I have yet to meet a Christian who doesn’t believe we are living in the last days. It saddens my heart when I see and hear about two Christians living together, having sex before marriage, and committing adultery. Are you committing adultery against Jesus, your husband? Doesn’t the Word say, Jesus is our husband, and we must keep God first in our lives. Have you built an altar that sits above the “I AM”?
Goats, sheep, lost salvation? Part 2 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 17TH, 2024 (5784)
Many Christians believe the once saved always saved theory and I too was in that camp for many years. There is a huge difference between deception, knowingly sinning and laziness with the Word. I know many, many Christians who go to church Sunday morning, hear the Pastor preach and walk around the rest of the week as if they belonged in the world. I know some Christians who are reading and studying the Word, seeing the deception in their lives, and are working to right the wrongs. Yes, we have grace and mercy, but we still have to work at pulling out weeds. Then we have some people who can’t be bothered to go to church or watch a service on-line, read their bible, because when they were ten years old, they prayed a special little prayer and think they are good, and they are saved and sanctified for the rest of their lives.
“But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person – such a man is an idolater – has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them.” (Ephesians 5:3-6; NIV)
I am not trying to hurt you, confuse you, nor am I condemning you. I am trying to get you from going through the tribulation and keep you from Hell.
Goats, sheep, lost salvation? Part 3 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 18TH, 2024 (5784)
When I wake in the morning, I let the dogs out, grab my coffee and sit at my table and read my bible and pray. I pray over you during this time as well. I feel like I could tear down any strong hold, anywhere in the world, and then I go out into the world, into the atmosphere of good and evil. My faith walks before me, but by the end of the day, I can find myself deflated, and have picked up frustration or gossip somewhere along the road. I get home, angry for no reason, short tempered, and barking at my dogs because they are slow getting out the door and I need to get supper started. If I am smart that day and hear heaven’s wisdom in my spirit, I stop, rebuke any evil spirits, any evil thoughts, repent where needed, and then instant peace fills the room and my spirit.
It is not God’s responsibility to repent for me, nor is it God’s place to rebuke demons that I chose to bring home with me. On March first, I gave a praise report of me driving my truck from Costco to the butcher shop, and hearing in my spirit, “I will get you home safely.” I couldn’t see angels, but I knew they were working under the hood of my truck. When I got home and unloaded, everything seemed fine. A few hours later, I jump into my truck with my grandson, and put it into reverse, backed up a little to pull out onto the road. I no longer had any steering. Praise God, He is trustworthy and true to His Word. I had to work the next day, (Saturday), so my daughter who had been a car salesperson at one time, and has a girlfriend married to a man who manages another car lot, went out and found me a vehicle. She shows up at my work with this vehicle, and said it handled great on the icy streets. It was a 2020 model, with just less than 60,000 km on it, and that it had been sitting on the trade in lot for some time, and the managers chose to reduce it below their trade in value, which lowered the original asking price by $7,000. I know nothing about vehicles, and this make and model definitely wasn’t even on my asking list of God. But I knew this was the one, as the peace beyound understanding over came me.
I am telling you this, because God is worthy of praise and honour, and He cares about everything in our lives. “This is why I tell you to never be worried about your life, for all that you need will be provided, such as food, water, clothing – everything your body needs.” (Matthew 6:25; TPT)
Goats, sheep, lost salvation? Part 4 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 19TH, 2024 (5784)
Yesterday, I shared my praise report of God providing protection while I drove my truck and that He provided me with a vehicle to purchase that was less than the trade in value at a dealership. My truck was purchased new in 2006, and didn’t cost me really anything except new windshields, tires, breaks, oil changes, shocks, and a few other things. I received this truck, free of charge, in 2010 with 45,000 kms on it. It had 350,000 kms or 186,411 miles on it when I retired its service to me.
I have been praying and sowing for a new vehicle for about 6 or 7 years. A week before this event, my daughter told me I should start looking for a new vehicle. God also started to talk to me about a new vehicle and how I could pay for it. Then on March first, in my morning time with Him, He told me to look back in my journal to September 26th, 2023, where I wrote what I saw coming in 2024. I wrote, “I see a new vehicle.”
I am not telling you all this as a formula of how God will bring a new vehicle into your life, as we are all individuals with different paths and plans. But I want you to see how God can do it. God needs you actively seeking Him and listening to Him. If I didn’t sow and pray for a new vehicle, would I have received it from Him? If I didn’t listen to Him while driving, would I have lost my faith as I drove and my truck loose its ability to steer while accelerating down the street? If I didn’t listen to Him telling me how to pay for this vehicle would I have missed it and did it another way? If I didn’t listen to Him telling me this is the one, because it wasn’t what I envisioned driving, would I have refused it?
Notice it started with praying and seeking, and sowing seed. I had to listen and watch for 6 or 7 years. I had to be obedient to the Word. When I received my truck as a gift it was a total surprise to me. I had another truck I was driving, and it was a good truck. God told me, I received this truck because I sowed for it. I had given away another car I no longer needed. “Examine your motives to make sure you’re not showing off when you do your good deeds, only to be admired by others, otherwise, you will lose the reward of your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 6:1; TPT)
Goats, sheep, lost salvation? Part 5 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 20TH, 2024 (5784)
I have shared with you over the last two days, my truck experience. I am not sharing this with you to be admired by others, but to share the great and wonderful works of God. I don’t hold any specialness that produced this miracle, except my devotion to God, and my obedience, even through my mistakes and lack of understanding sometimes. God is not looking at me waiting for me to fail, He looks at me with the perfection of Jesus.
Do you understand? God created you in His image. He created you to be sheep and to seek Him first. He told you; you will have no other gods before Him. God shows me things that I have placed before Him, that I need to get rid of, repent from and put behind me. I am as guilty of stuff as the next person. I had sex outside of marriage, lived with someone I was not married too, let myself be abused, let Satan steal my stuff, used foul language, stole, lied, gossiped, raised my children in an unhealthy environment, didn’t work above my pay grade, took instead of give. All these things are gods before my God. I have repented, sought after the truth in the Word, listened and listened and listened some more to the Word being preached, read books, the bible, prayed in tongues, and I am still working on taking down alters I have built before my God. The difference between a sheep and a goat is, I am doing something about it. The only perfection in me is Jesus and Holy Spirit.
“Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he longs for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door.” (Matthew 7:7,8: TPT) If you read in the bible that homosexuality is a sin, and you can’t get into Heaven doing it, and you are doing it, or supporting it, you are denying God. However, if you go to God and repent, turn away from it, take your thoughts captive, seek God to help you overcome the temptations, the door will be open to you. If you persistently seek His face, repeat scripture that creates the truth to fill your atmosphere, and choose to do it God’s way, you will find freedom because the door will be open to you. The goat says, homosexuality is loving because we are created in God’s image, and God is love. The sheep say, “God says homosexuality is an abomination to God, He created us male and female, and told us to multiply. We are commanded to love one another, not have sex with the same sex nor have sex outside of marriage.”
Goats, sheep, lost salvation? Part 6 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 21ST, 2024 (5784)
You can be the worst sinner in the world and receive Jesus in you and the angels will rejoice in Heaven. All your sins are now forgiven. You have entered the narrow gate. “Enter through the narrow gate because the wide gate and broad path is the way that leads to destruction – nearly everyone chooses that crowded road! The narrow gate and the difficult way leads to eternal life – so few even find it!” (Matthew 7:13, 14; TPT)
So, you enter the gates. You made it, but you continue to live in a relationship that you are not in a marriage covenant with, you have children in, you are abused in, you allow to be stolen from, you are angry and frustrated all the time, you lie and use foul language. You don’t pick up your bible. You yell at your children and tell everyone who will listen about your relationship. This is a goat. “You can spot them by their actions, for the fruits of their character will be obvious. You won’t find sweet grapes hanging on a thorn bush, and you’ll never pick good fruit from a tumbleweed…. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord.’ Will enter into heaven’s kingdom.” (Matthew 7:16,21; TPT)
So, you enter the gates. You read that you are not to be in a relationship with someone outside of marriage, and they don’t treat you well, so you leave. You quit listening to foul language and speaking it. You stop yelling at your children, and you start to read your bible daily. You stop gossiping and start praying. This is a sheep. “Everyone who hears my teaching and applies it to his life can be compared to a wise man who built his house on an unshakable foundation.” (v. 24; TPT) We are created to inherit the land.

Goats, sheep, lost salvation? Part 7 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 22ND, 2024 (5784)
On March 18th, I wrote: Have you ever noticed that when you are around a certain person, you seem edgy, uneasy, or frustrated? Or you enter a building and instantly feel unworthy or perhaps greedy? This is due to the spirits in the atmosphere, or the spirits invited to share the space with someone.
Yesterday we quoted Ephesians 5:3-6 from the New International Version. It talked about many of the evil things people do, and that they will not inherit the Kingdom of God. We carry a light that spirits can see, both good and evil. Jesus said, some people keep this light covered or hidden, and others stand on a lamp stand and brighten a whole room. The ten virgins are an example of this. The foolish virgins ran out of oil and wanted the wise virgins to give them what they had, to sponge off them, for the wise ones to carry them. Some might say, but we are commanded to love and share with others. Does a wise person put aside their money for years, denying themselves pleasures and unnecessary things, to give it away to a foolish person who will spend it on sin? God says, a lazy person will come to poverty and a foolish, lazy person will not eat. We are not created to be wise and give everything away to a foolish person.
“…nearly everyone chooses that crowded road! The narrow gate and the difficult way leads to eternal life – so few even find it!” (Matthew 13b, 14; TPT) Are you enabling someone to continue being in the enemy’s camp or staying a goat? “But everyone who hears my teaching and does not apply it to his life can be compared to a foolish man who built his house on sand.” (v. 26; TPT)
A foolish man creates an atmosphere of greed, laziness, and suffering. I will guarantee they have a few demons, if not more, swarming around them, gnashing their teeth, to continue to enslave them, and everyone else within their atmosphere. Satan is the Lord of the Flies. “You won’t find sweet grapes hanging on a thorn bush, and you’ll never pick good fruit from a tumbleweed.” (v. 16b; TPT) God doesn’t need you as a goat, He needs you as a sheep. You are not commanded to save anyone. You cannot save anyone. Only Jesus can. Remaining in an atmosphere of defilement will make you defiled. Do you see now? Goats go to Hell. “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into heaven’s kingdom. It is only those who persist in doing the will of my heavenly Father.” (v. 21; TPT)
Beyound ordinary limitations – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 23RD, 2024 (5784)
“Opposition to truth cannot be excused on the basis of ignorance, because from the creation of the world the invisible qualities of God’s nature have been made visible such as his eternal power and transcendence.” (Romans 1:20; TPT) “Transcendence comes from the Latin prefix trans-, meaning “beyond,” and the word scandare, meaning “to climb.” When you achieve transcendence, you have gone beyond ordinary limitations. The word is often used to describe a spiritual or religious state, or a condition of moving beyond physical needs and realities.” Vocabulary.com
I want to show you something very amazing in the Word and it comes just before the above scripture verse. “And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith.” (v. 17b; TPT) I don’t know about you, but my levels of faith in certain areas of my life vary greatly. My healing faith level is not at the same level as my financial faith, and it is different than my faith that God writes through me. Just as a baby goes from learning to roll over, to crawling, to walking, it is so with faith. Another example is sowing money. Jesus says, give and it will be given back, pressed down, shaken to make more room to add too, and running over. He said, you can receive back a 30, 60 or 100-fold, depending on what you have faith for. I admit, sometimes I only receive back 10 percent because that is as high as my faith goes. Believe for the 100-fold, not the 100 times, because fold is the more than enough, it is unmeasurable, whereas 100 times is. If you sow $10.00 and times that by 100 it is $1000.00. “ More accurately, the hundredfold return is simply the greatest possible return on any particular seed sown.” (Kenneth Copeland Ministries) Always belief for more than enough return.
Beyound ordinary limitations Part 2 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 24TH, 2024 (5784)
Yesterday we talked about the 30, 60, 100-fold return on our seed. Seed can be our financial giving, our words, our actions, our time given, picking up wet towels on the floor, letting someone in line before us in the grocery store, etc. We give seed out all day long, and we might not even be aware of it. Seed is not our tithe. The tithe is the first ten percent of our income, whether you believe it is from your gross or net. Personally, I give off my gross as I want my taxes and dues blessed as well.
If you yell and scream and use fowl language as well, what do you expect to receive back in return? I don’t yell, scream, or use fowl language, but sometimes I receive it from other people. I use kind words back in response, letting the person know I do not appreciate their language. People who are constantly like that, I don’t spend much time around, because it will wear on your faith and patience. That is how the enemy works. What reward will the person who yells and uses fowl language receive, compared to someone who doesn’t?
Seed doesn’t return to you at a one-to-one ratio. It is multiplied back. Jesus said, it is shaken down to make room for more until it overflows. I want to be on the good side of the fence and receive the overflow of blessings. You don’t plant a seed in the ground such as a bean seed and grow one seed. You plant a bean seed and harvest many seed pods from one plant. The more you harvest off that plant, the more that plant will grow replacement pods. You see a plants whole purpose in life is to grow seeds to reproduce itself. If you leave the pods on the plant, the plant will stop producing flowers and pods because its cycle is over, it did its job. Another example is a sunflower. Most sunflower plants have one head, some have multiple heads, but they produce hundreds if not thousands of seeds. A smart gardener will eat some, leave some for the birds and harvest some to plant the following spring. Suppose your sunflower produced 100 seeds. You save 10 seeds, leave 10 seeds for the birds, and use 80 seeds for yourself. Is that not more than enough? You tithed ten percent, so there is meat in God’s house, you saved seed to produce more seed, and you used eighty percent for yourself.
Today is Palm Sunday. Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a wild donkey. He was on His way to plant the ultimate seed.
Beyound ordinary limitations Part 3 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 25TH, 2024 (5784)
Over the last two days we learned that God has written Himself on our hearts, that we can believe for the impossible, because it is doable. We always believe for the 100-fold return, although our faith might cap out at 10 percent, or 60 times. We are always reaching for the maximum.
I so often hear from people; I just don’t believe I can raise enough money to do such and such. You receive what you believe. Remember your words are seeds. People who teach on vision and planning are always saying, write down the vision, make a vision board and keep the vision before your eyes. It’s all biblical. If you take your eyes off the vision, you will be derailed. I want you to understand, that sometimes your vision can take minutes to come to pass or decades. Chances are it will never come to pass as you imagine it will and that you have to be active in pursuing your vision.
Sometimes in my own life, I want to do something or have something and bam the money is in my hand. Other times, I have to step out in faith before it arrives. Other times, I am put in a holding position for months or years. Sometimes I have to do things I don’t understand why I need to do certain things. One time God said, “sell all your gold rings, and do it now.” I was obedient and did it and it paid for that thing I needed. Remember things, our possessions are just that, things. They don’t have emotions, they can’t miss us, and they are only useful to us if we use them.
If you walk around holding something so tightly, when God says give it away, you won’t be able to and you will miss your blessing. I have given vehicles away, money away, even a house. The blessings for this were amazing. Only give away, if God tells you, and don’t let other people make you their source and supply. (That doesn’t include your underage children.)
Beyound ordinary limitations Part 4 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 26TH, 2024 (5784)
You limit yourself and the blessings you receive. “In reality, the truth of God is known instinctively, for God has embedded this knowledge inside every human heart.” (Romans 1:19; TPT) Most people know murder is wrong. Most people know stealing and lying is wrong. I say most, because some people have hardened their hearts to the point, they can’t hear God anymore. Remember the path that seed is sown on and the birds of the air (demons) come and take away the seed? Remember, the certain man who had a legion of demons?
On March 18th I wrote about our atmosphere and that we can be worn down to do evil by hanging around people who do evil, or the evil spirits allowed in certain areas. Demons cannot dwell where they are not invited. You watch horror movies, play violent video games, allow abuse, they will be there. If you open your front door and command them out, and then turn around and use foul language, gossip, slander, and abuse others, they ain’t going nowhere.
God says, repent and flee. It doesn’t say, repent and stay where you are. Flee might include physically getting up and leaving the place you are. It might mean leaving everything behind. Evil spirits can and do attach themselves to certain things. That is why it is important to cleanse your new home, car, or objects you bring into your house. Who knows what terror that lamp has heard and seen. The first thing I did when I got my new vehicle, was to pray over it, anoint it and command the host to protect me every time it was on the road, or parked. Have you heard the expression, “if walls could talk.” Words are forever. Even in your own house, do you have rooms that are peaceful and rooms you shutter going into because they feel creepy or angry?
Beyound ordinary limitations Part 5 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 27TH, 2024 (5784)
We are not powerless over anything. WE CAN KNOW NOTHING BUT VICTORY. These two statements were given to me by God. Are they biblical? “And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith.” (Romans 1:17b; TPT)
God will meet us where we are; however, we are not supposed to camp out there and live there for the rest of our lives. We are conquerors, not pawns, not rooted trees, but images of God. Jesus is the same today, as he will be in the future. He is God. We are born to become like God. That means we can have the faith like Jesus’s. That means we can speak like Jesus speaks. Jesus believed that Holy Spirit would raise Him from the dead, so it didn’t limit Him dying on the cross. What you say limits you, what you do limits you, what you believe limits you.
When I ask for something from God, sometimes I can physically feel my cap on my belief. I am like, “what the heck God, I know you can do this.” My spirit knows that God can do all things, but my soul is like, “no, your belief is not that high yet.” That doesn’t stop me from asking, or speaking out loud for it, nor does it hinder my going after what I have asked for. What kills the seed and my growth, is doing nothing and expecting God to do it all. God will meet me where I am. If I am seeking Him, I will find Him. God knows the desires of my heart, and He wants to give them too me, but at the same time, some of my desires are asking for more than I can handle today. Faith doesn’t stop growing. For example, today I might believe for one hundred dollars. I work on my faith and can believe for one thousand. It grows to one hundred thousand. If I had faith only for one hundred dollars and God gave me one hundred thousand, chances are I would be foolish with it and loose it all. Are you starting to see? Faith grows. It never stops growing. God will always call you higher. Don’t remain on the level you are now. I know it is comfortable, and a good place to rest for a moment or two but take that step and go higher.
Faith is – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 28TH, 2024 (5784)
“Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.” (Hebrews 11:1; TPT) Yesterday we read, “And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith.” (Romans 1:17b; TPT)
The two passages above say that faith brings our hopes into reality, and that they work together to build a foundation; however, we are to continue to grow in our faith so that the power of living by faith is our daily routine. We begin our Christian walk like babies begin to learn to walk. Once the action and desire to walk takes hold of a baby, away they go. When is the last time you had to tell your legs to move, left, right, left, right? You don’t even consciously think about walking, you just do it. Sometimes people have to relearn to walk, and they have to tell themselves, left, right, left, right, pick your foot up and put it down. That is how we learn about faith. Faith and fear work whether we know we are working it or not, but intentional faith needs to be practiced.
You cannot operate in both faith and fear at the same time. Whichever of the two is stronger, will prevail. Have you ever started out saying, I am going to move into my own apartment, and went hunting for an apartment and got scared when you came face to face with the cost of the apartment, the power bill, internet bill, groceries and buying furniture? You decided to hang out where you are because fear said, “there is no way you can make it.” Now what? “Now faith brings our hopes into reality.”
You get out your vision board and paste a photo of your apartment on it. The furniture you want. The bills being paid every single month. You start to speak like God speaks, “I have my apartment, my bills are paid, I own my furniture, and I have favour with God.” Yes, you speak as if you already have it. Now you prepare physically because faith without action is dead. You want to feed your faith, not your fear. So, besides speaking out loud daily, I have my apartment, you are visualizing yourself there. You start to prepare for your move. You are saving money, packing boxes, finding out moving costs and hook up costs. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY YOU ARE SOWING SEED FOR IT.
Remember, seed can be you giving money to God, but name your seed as you sow it. Say something like, “I am sowing my seed into this ministry, and name this seed moving into my apartment, with my damage deposit money, moving expenses and bills paid.” Make sure the ministry you are putting your seed into tithes and gives seed as well and operates on faith. Make sure you are a tither as well and stand on your tither rights, which is explained in Malachi 3:10. You can also sow seed by helping someone else move and pack. You can give someone money for their deposit on their apartment. You can prepare meals for someone who recently moved into their own apartment and help them unpack and clean. If you have a friend who is struggling, offer your washing machine and dryer for them to use a few times to ease the burden.
Faith is part 2 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 29TH, 2024 (5784)
“It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen. This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for.” (Hebrews 11b, 12; TPT)
Yesterday we spoke on getting an apartment. We also talked about the premise that faith grows. It grows into a power that you live on. Faith and fear cannot live together.
Suppose you decide to move into your own apartment, you get the money together to move, have the apartment under a signed contract, made arrangements for your internet installation and have a moving truck booked, and then fear starts to call you. This happens a lot with women who are abused and trying to get out of a marriage. They hear from God to move out, they make plans, but the moment they go to step out, fear calls them back, they turn and look back, and fear conquers their faith. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah? Lot’s wife looked back, and she turned into salt. She didn’t make it out. Fear murdered her, so to speak.
“Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen.” (Hebrews 11:3: TPT) We have to have the God kind of faith. God said it, so it was. I said it, so it is. God doesn’t have evil thoughts toward you. He didn’t put you in a position to fail, He created you to be successful, hardworking, productive, and creative. You are supposed to be living in the power of your faith. God told me, “You can have everything the Word will produce.”
I walk around saying, “I have lands, houses, gardens, orchards, animals, live in a peaceful neighbourhood, I always have more than enough to share, I always pay my bills on time, my hands are blessed, I am blessed going in and blessed going out.” In the physical realm I don’t have all these things, but my faith says, I have them. I can see the unseen because my faith and hope tell me it’s true. You have to look through your spiritual eyes to see the unseen. Just like when I told you about my experience on March first, driving my truck and knowing that angels were under the hood of my truck. My faith believed the Lord’s words, “I will get you home safely.” Sometime while driving my truck, the steering broke, because a few hours after I unloaded my groceries, I lost the ability to steer my truck.
It is ‘Good Friday’. Jesus hung on the cross in faith. “And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who passionately seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6; TPT) Jesus gave himself for us, so we could live forever, if we believed in Him. That is faith. That same faith for salvation is the same faith that heals us, pays our bills, finds us the perfect house, the perfect job, that sets up opportunities for us. Jesus didn’t take every single lash, having His flesh ripped out of His body, for us to be powerless over anything.
Faith is part 3 – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 30TH, 2024 (5784)
We are more than conquers, in Him. Noah built an ark. It started with God saying build and build it this way, with this wood. Now I am sure there were times when Noah went to God and said, it would be easier to do it this way, or we can cut corners here. I am also sure, Noah questioned God’s sanity. I mean, he was probably daily ridiculed, told he was senile, stupid, and crazy. He didn’t even know what rain was, as it had never rained. I am sure it was tiring work. He also had to provide for his family. They needed food, clothing, and shelter. It took him between 80 and 120 years to build the ark. I used to sew quilts that took 80 or more hours to create, and I was exhausted and tired of working on it, only after that long.
On January 6th, 2024, God said to me, “Noah believed and built an ark. Did his children believe right from the start? Your family is depending on you.” What would have happened if fifteen years into building the ark, Noah gave up? “Faith opened Noah’s heart to receive revelation and warnings from God about what was coming, even things that had never been seen. But he stepped out in reverent obedience to God and built an ark that would save him and his family. By his faith the world was condemned, but Noah received God’s gift of righteousness that comes by believing.” (Hebrews 11:7; TPT)
I can hear someone say, “see, I should fight for my marriage to an alcohol abuser.” Noah separated himself from sinners. Noah was righteous, and only eight people on the whole earth were righteous, everyone else was a sinner. If they would have repented, I believe God would have saved them. I am positive Noah spent a lot of time preaching the Good News to people who came to call him into sin, yet he sinned not. Noah didn’t live with the sinners, party with the sinners, nor did he run after the sinners. Noah was 500 years old, and God found favor in the LORD’s eyes. “Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with.” (Genesis 6:9; NIV) Go back in this Daily Walk and read about the goats and the sheep.
Parting the waters (in my case alcohol) – DAILY WALK IN TOMORROW – March 31TH, 2024 (5784)
“When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea.” (Exodus13:17, 18; NIV) If God had never showed me that verse I never would have known it was there.
I find this fascinating because it is so true in my own life. God led the people the harder way instead of the easy way. Why? To keep them from going back into slavery because they were fearful of a battle. When I lived with an alcohol abuser, I thought to myself hundreds of times, “this is crazy. Why am I staying, I need to leave.” I stayed because I was fearful of the battle. Even though I knew God would be with me, fighting for me, I stayed. God led them towards the Red Sea. When I wanted to leave, all I could see before me was the Red Sea. I didn’t see God at all, just the Red Sea. I didn’t have any faith, because I was focused on the impossible river that needed to be crossed to get to the other side.
“After leaving Succoth they camped at Etham on the edge of the desert. By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.” (v. 20, 21)
Have you always envisioned this as a one-day thing? I have. These millions of people running in fear, to the edge of the Red Sea, where Moses commands the waters to part, the people rush through the river to the other side, all in one day. It says, by day and by night, so it didn’t take just one day. Why was God out front? So, the people would be forced to follow Him and keep their eyes upon Him. They had no faith.
