During my morning with God, He had me read from Matthew 25:1 to 13 in five different bible versions. Matthew 24 and 25 are about the signs of the End times, and the Parable of the Ten Virgins fall in the middle of Jesus’s teaching. The ten virgins are Christians, born again believers who have called upon the name of Jesus to be saved. In the Parable of the sheep and goats, starting in verse 31, they too are both Christians. So, we are talking about two sets of believers.
The chapter opens with statements like, “When my coming draws near,” (TPT) “THEN THE kingdom of heaven will be like,” (AMP) “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like,” (NIV). Five wise virgins, maidens, who go out to meet with Jesus as His coming is drawing near. Five of them are filled, they did what was required of them, and five were foolish, lazy and silly, and were not filled, and they fell asleep, all of them, because He did not arrive when they thought He should.
We have talked a lot about Noah lately in the Daily Walk in Tomorrow and other articles. It is estimated that it took 80 to 120 years for Noah to build the 450-foot Ark, that was 75 feet wide and 45 feet high. Can you imagine how Noah felt, to be told to build a boat that large. Many of us raise our eyebrows to believe God for a house, debt – free, let alone believe for the ability to build a massive boat because rain was going to fall on the Earth. Noah didn’t know what rain was, as it had never rained before.
Let’s say it took Noah 120 years to build this boat. It was finished. Throughout this time, Noah had a family to raise and feed. He had neighbours who probably came to him drunk and slurring words, to mock him. The Nephilim were alive and well, and wickedness was everywhere. The Message says, it broke God’s heart, because all people thought about was evil from morning until night.
Eight people. Only eight were saved. The rest were ungodly. Genesis 6:3 says, “Eventually they’re going to die; from now on they can expect a life span of 120 years.” This is why some say it took Noah 120 years to build the ark. So, after the ark is finished, God says, “Also get all the food you’ll need and store it up for you and them.” [meaning his family and the animals] Noah did everything God requested of him. Noah was human, and I am sure he thought this was absolutely crazy at times, and questioned God’s sanity as well. I am also sure Noah was exhausted and cursed as he fitted pieces of wood together. He grew weary as he coated it with pitch, inside and out.
As the first drops of rain fell for the very first time onto the Earth, what do you think the people did? I believe they remembered the ark and knew they missed it. I imagine that many started to run to the Ark in fear and panic, and found the Ark locked up tight. Inside, I imagine Noah and his family could hear the rain hitting the ark and the people screaming for them to open the boat for them to be saved. I also believe that Satan was panicking as well. God was removing all opportunity for him to become a man.
If you want to hear from two prophets explain what is coming, and what it will be like during the seven years, see links below.
Back to the ten virgins. When they were awakened by a shout, they lite their lamps. Five were filled, five were not. Five were like Noah and his family, and five were not. God told Noah to build an ark, given instructions how, he filled the Ark with food for his family and animals, and to harvest that much food would have been a lot of hard work and sacrifice. Noah would have had to spend much of his time before God asking Him questions on how to get this job done. In the parable, only five out of ten did this work.
I can write you articles, a devotional and pray over you, but I cannot make your relationship better and closer to God. I cannot read your bible for you. I can post scripture verses, post videos for you to watch, but I cannot make the sacrifice needed for you to get it into your hearts. Five virgins, God’s children did the work, made the sacrifices, walked in righteousness with God, and went to the banquet. This happens right after the rapture of the church. The banquet lasts for seven years, seven earthly years. The unwise virgins are left behind, on the earth to go through the tribulation.
Watch the videos below, as it explains what will happen during those seven years.
If you get left behind, die before you take the mark of the beast. Make sure you are right with God and do not curse your Lord God because you were left behind. God did everything He could to wake you up here on Earth. You chose to ignore God, walk in ignorance and sin. In the Passion Translation, Jesus says, “Go away! Do I know you? I can assure you, I don’t even know you!” That is the reason you should always stay awake and be alert, because you don’t know the day or the hour when the Bridegroom will appear.” (Matthew 25:12, 13)
Do you understand now the difference of the 10 virgins? Do you know now what you need to do? Fill your vessel with oil. You are the vessel. Get right with God and have a relationship with Him. You cannot afford to walk and talk with the World but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

PS as I reread this article that I wrote I am reminded to keep my loved ones in prayer constantly so that the Lord can pick up my faith filled words and perform them. He will search out your loved one and call to them, He will know them by your words. Speak highly of them to the Lord, as if they were saved and sanctified.
